When I first came into this course I thought it would be about computers and not help me in the slightest because it isn't my intended line of work. What I walked into with this course was something greater than what I had anticipated and it is a course that I am grateful for the Cabrini offers. This class has taught me not only how to properly use programs, shortcuts, and many more tips and tricks to know my way around a computer, but has opened my eyes to something I will use for the rest of my life. Because of this class and the help of my instructor and classmates, I have learned how to become a more well rounded student entirely.
Everyday we come in and do different assignments and review many different slide show presentations and videos. Yes this may be long, but it helps grow ones attention span and pick out the pertinent information when note taking. Also, the assignments their selves are very interactive and they help engage us as students as if it were homework, only we get through it as a class and the resources are there to help as we would when we all come across our professions. In addition to that we have learned how to be prompt and perfect a craft with heavy practice in what we wish to accomplish. Many skills can be taken from this class, but what I value most is the fact that the power is in our hands to make this course useful or decide to lose a great opportunity. I do not plan to lose such an opportunity to do well and succeed.
