With the questions proposed to us this week, there are many controversial points that could be made. One of which is the first question which asks if robots will contribute if not already to unemployment. Given that in many factories, this type of unemployed scrip has taken place. Take for example in car factories. They used to be put together manually and though not at fast, it was still the occupation of many. Another example would be workers who ran an assembly line for products. Now that it is completely automated, the only ones who let their jobs were the ones managing the productivity of the workers. Considering now that the workers are robots, they simply watch for malfunction and keep things running smoothly as they would with human workers. The next question we were asked was what technological improvements were made in cars to this day. With the example of the BMW I it is easy to see. The car itself is a computer with its own hot spot, Bluetooth compatibility, adjustable and removable seats, luxury to the touch with mind bending technology in the engine to give it longevity and cleaner use to the environment, and of course push to start from outside of the car. There are many technical differenences from cars only 5 years ago but for general purposes, they are far more advanced. For me, my life wouldn't change much but for others, life would become a train wreck of technology were banned for a week. They rely on it too much and it isn't good or bad all of the time. And last but not least if technology were able to produce real time voice detection to alter language, that would be monumental. Monumental in the sense that universal language would truly be universal and everyone would be understood.

I personally have used a 3-D printer before, and I for one would use it again considering it was  a pretty mind blowing experience. The fact that I could give an input as to what I wish to come out, even if not the same exact dimensions as my input, and get an output that is proportionate to the T just astounds me. On top of that, the productivity of a 3-D printer is immense. If one were to need something that they did not have enough of, for example if someone needed a new toothbrush or something such as a new plate if one were to break then the printer would help out in great convenience. There are greater examples, but I wanted to stick to more common day uses for it to try to sell the idea that the 3-D printer can serve a great purpose for the every day user. With that said this creation of a 3-D printer just like everything else comes with great responsibility. Considering years to come with advances this comes with the upholding of using it for greater purposes and not illegal matters. The fact that something like this has been created still keeps me in awe and anxious to see what future inventions are to come because this is something that was only dreamed of when I was younger. This invention is amazing and I would definitely use it again.
With all that is a part being online and being a part of the virtual world of the internet, privacy is something that is vital. Vital in the sense that people do not want their personal lives tampered with, but have to trust technology with their most important pieces of information to their lives. Unfortunately, privacy is a decaying factor in being online due to people who are out to destroy others lives for personal gain. Whether it be something as harassment, false identification, or something as serious as identity theft and hacking into ones bank information, these crimes put a serious dent in what privacy is left to us online. Needless to say, there are installments and agencies that work with us to give us that extra edge of protection, but there are relentless amounts of dangers online that we should be aware of. We could think one second that everything is great and not be aware of our surroundings online and come across the wrong link or wrong person and give out information that they can work with to hack into our personal lives. We must be very careful because privacy is no longer a thing online as we once innocently thought.
The programs available to us in terms of our computers and phones are incredible and so convenient to us in this day and age. Whether it be social media apps, games, notification systems/ reminders, appliances such as calculators and compasses, there is a an application for about anything. In terms of my personal needs, the best application I could think of would be my Wells Fargo Banking application. This app not only lets me access my bank account to see what figures I have in there, but it also lets me set parameters on my statements, transfer my available money and make payments, and even lets me make mobile deposits if I receive a paper check in the mail. This way I need a password, username, email and security code to log in and stay protected from being a victim of fraud. For convenience sake as well, I no longer have to go walk to ATMs or my local bank to see what I have available in my accounts to spend. All I have to do is log onto my application through my smart phone and it will give me access to all of my information through the qualifications to log on. This has not only saved me time and trips going to my bank, but it has also made me conscious of how I spend and save my money.
